臺中市市政顧問林輝堂先生，自幼即喜歡塗鴉，早期常臨摹齊白石水墨畫，認識陳庭詩大師後，改用壓克力顏料，以自動性技法創作一系列抽象畫，1998年起隨柯適中老師習畫，從人體速寫、素描、風景畫到半抽象。迄今17次個展、70次聯展，參與美國、日本及大陸許多城市國際交流展。林輝堂顧問因為喜愛天目之美，進而在繪畫上研究天目釉色變化，以油彩表現天目璀璨繽紛，此次展出以「曜變·躍變」呈現多年研究的「畫布上的天目」宇宙系列，分為（一）晝與夜，（二）伏羲先天八卦，（三）文王後天八卦（金、木、水、火、土，五行），（四）阿凡達－外星人，（五）星象等系列。
