1.Authors
(1)Fangjay Rong
Fangjay Rong is an Associate Professor jointly appointed by the Department of Environmental and Cultural Resources and the Interdisciplinary Program of Humanities and Social Sciences at National Tsing Hua University. His research focuses
on cultural heritage education and interpretation, as well as heritage management. In recent years, he has devoted himself to heritage education, advocating an approach to conservation that integrates cultural heritage into contemporary life. through these ef¬forts, he seeks to bring people closer to cultural heritage and the places where it is preserved.
(2)Johan Perng
Johan Perng is a creator with a passion for history and a particular interest in transforming complex knowledge into engaging stories and visual narratives. She is especially fascinated by the relationship between people and the sea, and by the challenging and ingenious journeys undertaken across it in the past.
3.Illustrator-Chara Su
Chara Su loves cats and toys. In recent years, she has developed a growing interest in exploring the histories of di¬fferent places across Taiwan. Through design and illustration, she transforms history into accessible visual narratives, making complex historical contexts easier to understand at a glance.
4.English Editor-Mingli Lee
Mingli Lee holds a Master’s degree in Heritage Management from the University of Birmingham in the UK. She has worked in Taiwan’s international public broadcasting and cultural institutions. Her longstanding engagement with both cultural and international a¬ffairs has shaped her commitment to bringing stories about Taiwan to wider audiences around the world.
5.Proofreading Editor-Filip Noubel
Filip Noubel is a journalist and editor with a long experience of working in Central Europe, Central Asia, China and Taiwan. He studied in Prague, Paris, Tokyo and Beijing and is particularly interested in narratives, in both fiction and non- fiction, and how they shape understanding of the world across cultures.
