書籍介紹
2025年國立故宮博物院及國立臺南藝術大學等博物館及學術單位，合辦「第一屆博物館學與保存維護國際雙年學術研討會」，邀集國內、外博物館學與文化資產保存專業人員進行學術發表與交流，共同探討博物館與文化資產之傳統與創新之倡議、實踐、討論、反思等議題，會議順利圓滿落幕。為使發表專業內容與議題能夠延續學術交流及討論，擴大研討會之效益，將該研討會上發表之論文收錄出版成論文集，提供博物館學與文化資產保存研究參考，促進學術發展與交流。

2015年臺灣首次公佈了博物館法，實施至今已屆滿10年，其中所稱博物館是指從事蒐藏、保存、修復、維護、研究人類活動、自然環境之物質及非物質證物，以展示、教育推廣或其他方式定常性開放供民眾利用之非營利常設機構，而且博物館場域更擴展到具有特殊人文藝術價值之空間。隨著國際社會與文化發展的變動，2022年ICOM布拉格大會通過博物館新定義，除了保留2007年舊版本的部分內容，更加入近用（accessible）、平權（inclusive）、多樣（diversity）、永續（sustainability）、倫理（ethically）、專業（professionally）、參與（participation）、體驗（experiences）、反思（reflection）等概念於定義中。
如今，包含博物館在內的文化資產機構持續在知識傳統上萌發創新的倡議與實踐，舉例而言，在文化資產/藏品的蒐藏管理、保存維護作業除了延續盡責的藏品管理維護之外，許多文化資產機構已啟動有關科技應用、管理效率等議題所觸發的嘗試；由於開放近用思潮與科技發展，有不少的文化資產機構逐漸將付費的圖像授權改變為免費的開放近用政策，並以數位人文與科技研究發掘藏品內涵以促進藏品的數位與多元應用；相當多數量的文化資產機構也採用平權、去中心化、民主等觀點而推展當代蒐藏，以貼近社區/社群及公眾的角度協力社群組織，蒐集並詮釋當代人民的故事與物件，並與原有藏品展開對話；許多博物館的展覽、教育、研究以及保存維護在秉持倫理與專業的基礎上，紛紛融入近用、平權、永續等概念，適切扮演文化資產溝通詮釋的角色。以上種種皆呈現文化資產機構在傳統上展現創意，注入新能量，為當代與未來世代提出問題與解答。
有鑑於此，本次研討會期望透過徵稿與專家學者專題演講交流對話等方式，促進國內學術單位、博物館與文化資產保存機構在傳統基礎上的創新作為，助益於我國博物館實務運用及研究發展，並達永續發展的目標。
