書籍介紹
本書中，在臺灣文學史上探討了更近期的歷史時期，特別是台灣的戰後及解嚴時期。小說與散文在本卷中佔據更顯著的地位，現代主義與鄉土主義的主題亦然。並且，關注被邊緣化的群體獲得適當的呈現，因此第14章探討了女性文學與同志文學的議題，而第15章則概述了台灣原住民族以中文書寫的歷史與特質。為使全書內容更臻完備，第16章概述了21世紀的台灣文學，並特別指出各種新型數位與網路文學形式的興起。綜觀全書，將為研讀台灣文學史的學子提供一項重要的新資源。

Terence Russell is Senior Scholar in the Asian Studies Center at the University of Manitoba. His research interest is the literature of Taiwan’s Indigenous people. His publications include studies of Adaw Palaf, Auvini Kadresengan, and Syaman Rapongan. Dr. Russell has been a regular contributor to Taiwan Literature: English Translation Series and now serves as co-editor for the journal. He recently published a translation of The Spirit of Jade Mountain, by Husluman Vava (Cambria, 2020).
