2022臺灣高齡健康與長照服務年報延續2021臺灣高齡健康與長照服務年報的架構，統計指標亦分為人口、經濟、健康狀況、預防保健與行為、醫療與長照、社會參與及居住安排等6大類，此次新增指標如下：於第三章健康狀況中新增自述慢性病、慢性病指標中新增失眠用藥、腎臟異常及肝功能指數異常之統計資料、聽力、跌倒、視力，第四章預防保健與行為中新增營養素，藉由新增以上指標之統計資料對高齡人口做更完整的了解。
